Support for Family

• After-school care for school-age children (under 12) for shift workers doesn't exist
  • Single parents and families where both parents work shifts have no support
  • A child under 12 cannot be expected to take care of themselves for more than a few hours
• Iltapäivähoito doesn't extend past 1600 but almost everyone ends work at 1600
  • Could there be a possibility of incorporating sports and clubs into a solution?
  • There is a model in other countries where schools to provide club and sports activities on school premises - what can we borrow from this?

Traffic and Safety

• Reckless or dangerous use of electric scooters (rental or owned)
  • Especially by teenagers flouting traffic rules - are teens not taught street traffic rules?
  • How can the traffic park be part of a solution?
  • Or is it simple callousness? Root causes need to be investigated too.
